[Apologies for cross-posting!]

    - If you are an educator at heart and you are interested in making a difference in your country's competitiveness by training arguably the most underused "resource" in most countries,

    - If you would like to participate in the development of training modules for women managers and entrepreneurs,

Please join us for the following Shared Professional Development Workshop (session 111 in the Atlanta Conference program):

Polar Winds to Tropical Breezes: Developing Training Modules for Women Managers and Entrepreneurs

This Saturday, August 12 2006 from 9:00AM to 12:00PM at the Hilton Atlanta in the Council / Cabinet Room

We will spend three hours translating recent research findings into modules for practical application. As a participant in the workshop, you will be able to use the pedagogical products we will develop together (bring your thumb drive and / or your laptop if you don't want to wait for the organizers to send them via email).

In a spirit of full disclosure: We will base this workshop on our just-published book "Successful Professional Women of the Americas -From Polar Winds to Tropical Breezes" (http://www.e-elgar.co.uk/Bookentry_DESCRIPTION.lasso?id=3880). We want to take our research "to the next level" and do something practical that will benefit the Successful Professional Women of tomorrow. No books will be sold during the workshop.

If you are interested, please pre-register by emailing Terri Lituchy terrilituchy@yahoo.com">terrilituchy@yahoo.com or Ann Gregory chanaaviv@yahoo.com">chanaaviv@yahoo.com so we can better organize the event.

We look forward to seeing you in Atlanta!!
