POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT DENMARKS TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY
Post Doctoral Appointment in Entrepreneurship with the goal of building a
database of entrepreneurial activities in the Nordic and wider European
countries with the aim of providing answers to relevant research questions
that present databases cannot answer. The database will form the foundation
for new entrepreneurship research and fill existing gaps in the literature
and strengthen the field of entrepreneurship research.
Starting Date: August 15, 2012 or earliest possible.
Position Description: One (with the possibility to extend to two) year
postdoctoral position in the Department of Management Engineering at
Denmarks Technical University (DTU). The position is on DTUS main campus
which is located in Lyngby, 10 km from Copenhagen.
The candidate will be expected to coordinate with Copenhagen Business School
(CBS) on the project to create and maintain a new database to study
entrepreneurial success factors. The successful candidate will contribute
ideas to the final database design and to developing the research model. In
addition, the successful candidate will also be involved in writing grant
applications to secure additional financing to expand the project.
Requirements: Ph.D. degree (or equivalent qualification) in Entrepreneurship
or a related discipline.
