    The Robert G. Merrick School of Business of the University of Baltimore
    invites applications for a visiting/tenure-track position (rank: open) to
    teach innovation management and related courses beginning Fall 2012, and to
    assist with the launch of a new M.S. degree in innovation management and
    technology commercialization. Preference will be given to those who have
    related experience in entrepreneurship and/or technology commercialization.
    This appointment may be for either a visiting or tenure-track position
    depending on qualifications.

    The Merrick School of Business is accredited by AACSB International, enrolls
    approximately 2,200 students, and has programs at both the undergraduate and
    graduate levels. The University of Baltimore is part of the University
    System of Maryland and has four academic units: the Law School, the Yale
    Gordon College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Public Affairs, and the
    Merrick School of Business. The University is located in the cultural
    center of Baltimore within walking distance of the harbor, restaurants,
    theaters, symphony hall, and train station.

    Qualifications:
    Preference will be given to candidates with a doctoral degree from an AACSB
    International accredited university and demonstrated, relevant teaching
    ability. Doctorally qualified applicants are expected to display an
    established research record with peer-reviewed journals in innovation
    management, technology commercialization, or entrepreneurship. Candidates
    with graduate degrees in business, science or engineering, and who have
    significant experience in entrepreneurship or technology commercialization
    are also encouraged to apply. Full-time Merrick School of Business faculty
    members teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

    Salary:
    Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
