POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Colorado State University invites applications and nominations for the position of Department Chair of Management in the College of Business. The selected candidate will be expected to start during summer 2012 or as negotiated. The department chair is the administrative and academic officer of the department and is responsible for leadership, strategic planning, curriculum, personnel, and budget issues in the department. Required qualifications include a PhD in a relevant discipline, a record sufficient for appointment as a full professor, appropriate teaching experience, and the ongoing ability to publish in premier and high quality academic journals. Preferred qualifications include demonstrated excellence in administrative endeavors, successful experience with job supervision of professionals, and the ability to interact effectively with the business community.

A complete application will include a resume, a letter of application relating qualifications specifically to this position, and contact information for three professional references.
