    Dear All,

     

    I would like to invite you and your school to send a team to the 5th Idea to Product Competition Latin America.

     

    I2P® Latin America is a competition in commercialization of innovation aiming to fill the gap between university research and business plan competitions. The goal is educating and developing the next generation of technology entrepreneurs. The program is particularly interested in matching technologies resulting from a university's fundamental research programs with potential markets. Previous winners and finalists from the I2P® Latin America have already commercialized their technologies or started new businesses.

     

    This year, the competition will take place on August 30th and 31st and September 1st, at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) in Sao Paulo, Brazil. You can read more preliminary details at http://ideatoproductla.org. The winning team from Latin America will compete at the I2P® Global Competition, on November 15-17 2012 at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.

     

    There are also a number of special events surrounding the competition that we hope you will enjoy, including faculty meetings and business planning and marketing workshops. I very much look forward to seeing you in August at FGV.
