ECSB Career Mentoring is aimed at junior researchers who have finalised their doctoral studies or are in the process of finalising in 2012. For six months, experienced researchers and professors will advise you with your personal career development. A mentor supports you by listening to you, discussing your personal goals with you, providing encouragement, information and contacts. Mentoring can assist you with assessing your experiences and achievements and considering your future options and choices. In order to be eligible, you need to be an ECSB member – in case you are not a member you can apply for membership at the ECSB website (www.ecsb.org). You also will have finished your doctoral thesis within the past five years preceding the application deadline. You apply at the ECSB webpage (http://www.ecsb.org/eng/mentoring/). The mentoring process officially will start on 1 December 2012 and continue until 30 May 2013.
