Alliance Portfolios - Paper Development Workshop

Session Description
The objective of this PDW is to offer personal feedback to scholars actively researching the topic of alliance portfolios. We seek to create a highly interactive environment where scholars in different fields, including strategic management, organization theory, and technology management can discuss their recent research on alliance portfolios, debate theoretical and empirical issues, and identify prospective directions for future research. This PDW will be of great interest to those broadly interested in the study of alliances and networks. In particular, the PDW will address themes related to the formation, composition, evolution, management and performance implications of alliance portfolios.
Pre-registration is required for this workshop.
In order to ensure a fruitful discussion we ask interested scholars to upload a 2-page summary of a research project that they would like to discuss in the PDW. These summaries will be later forwarded to the panelists who will be assigned to the round table of that participant. We also ask each registered participant to indicate 3 panelists who in his or her opinion can provide the most relevant feedback on the participant's research based on shared research interests. An effort will be made to ensure that each participant will be assigned with at least one of the panelists that was indicated. The PDW participants will be also able to continue informal discussions in in a follow-up lunch at the La Voile restaurant.
