Hello everyone,
If you are looking for a reference volume on entrepreneurship research or a possible "textbook" for your next PhD seminar in entrepreneurship, Hans Landström and I have just published the book, Intellectual Roots of Entrepreneurship Research. Informally referred to as "Hans and Franz's History of Entrepreneurship Research, Book 2," the book serves as a companion volume to our first book, Historical Foundations of Entrepreneurship Research (published in 2010 and available in paperback in June).
We developed both books to be references for scholars investigating entrepreneurship issues and to serve as "textbooks" for an introductory PhD entrepreneurship seminar.
In our introductory chapter of Intellectual Roots, we detail what we believe to be the Top 100 foundational publications in the entrepreneurship field spanning topics from the entrepreneur as an individual to entrepreneurship's role in economic development. Thirty-six of these publications are included in the present volume. The book, which is volume #23 in Edward Elgar Publishing's International Library of Entrepreneurship, is available at http://www.e-elgar.com/bookentry_main.lasso?currency=US&id=13206.
Best regards,
Franz Lohrke
