I am part of a group here in St. Louis trying to develop a group of volunteer accountants and lawyers for entrepreneurs (STL already has a group for artists VLAA.org). One of the questions is figuring out how to assess the need and ability to pay for these entrepreneurs. Many of them have jobs, or spouses with jobs, but they may very well need IP help at less than market rates.
Does anyone have a way to assess financial need which deals with the realities of nascent and small-scale entrepreneurs? If you please let met know. My email is
katzja@slu.edu, or feel free to post to the list.
Thanks in advance!
