The Technology Transfer Society (T2S) will hold its 2012 annual conference at the New York Academy of Sciences in New York City on November 2-3, 2012. The theme of the conference is "Technology Transfer and Academic Entrepreneurship."
Particular areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Technology Transfer and the Changing Role of the University
- Academic Entrepreneurship
- Property-Based Institutions (Incubators/Accelerators/Science Parks)
- Academic Innovation and Global Competition
- University-Industry Partnerships in Research, Commercialization, and Education
- Technology Transfer Strategy Formulation and Implementation
- Technology Transfer in a Global Value Chain
- Intellectual Property and Law
- Topics in Entrepreneurship
- Other Related Areas
Those wishing to organize chair and session, or to offer a relevant new topic, should submit a proposal (title of the session, brief description of the session's focus, and names, affiliations, and email addresses of the presenters).
Those wishing to present a paper should submit an abstract (title of the paper, up to 150 word abstract, topic area, and presenter affiliation, and email information).
All session proposals, paper proposals, and abstracts should be submitted not later than Monday, June 18, 2012. The Academy has 3 seminar rooms so the number of program participants will be very limited. Individuals will be notified about their submissions not later than Friday, August 3, 2012.
Submit all proposals and paper abstracts to the conference coordinator, Sally Mills, at smills@albany.edu. Please note "T2S 2012" in the subject line of your email.
