    Hi Othmar-

Professor Jeremy Short at the University of Oklahoma is a pioneer in creating teaching materials that add theatrics and excitement to entrepreneurship classes. I encourage you to check out his recent TED talk at the link below. It has attracted more than 900 views in the week since it was posted:

Subject: Staging/ theatric approaches in entrepreneurship courses

    Dear colleagues,

I am currently rethinking my teaching approaches in entrepreneurship- = and research methodology courses.
Reading through literature, I stumbled upon staging and theatric = approaches, and found out that I am already using some of these to = motivate students and help them focus. Small issues, such as ambient = lights, the use of various media, story telling, sound and haptic = effects, artificial pauses etc. are all seen as valuable means.

Therefore my question and invitation to you all, please comment on whether and how you are using such effects in our own = teaching and whether you can recommend any corresponding literature or = courses.

    kind regards,

    Othmar Lehner
