Dear fellow ENT listserve colleagues,
I am in the midst of developing a symposium proposal that examines the intersection of spirituality/religion and entrepreneurship. The topic of spiritual/religious influences on entrepreneurship -- and vice-versa -- is garnering increased interest among management scholars, particularly regarding how an entrepreneur's heightened human consciousness affects his/her various entrepreneurial activities. I am interested in proposing a forum through which current work in this area (broadly defined) can be shared.
If you are conducting research (conceptual, theoretical, or empirical) that contextualizes spirituality/religion and entrepreneurship, I cordially invite you to partner with me and others in contributing to this symposium proposal. Research that highlights a relationship between entrepreneurship and spirituality/religion at any level of analysis (individual, organizational, institutional, or societal) will be welcomed.
Please send me an e-mail message (BlocksonL@cofc.edu) with a description of your research by Wednesday, November 30. I will sort through the descriptions and determine which symposium format (presenter or panel) will serve our purpose better. If enough interest is generated, I may consider submitting a PDW and/or caucus proposal that will provide additional venues through which to share our knowledge. The symposium submission deadline is January 10, 2012.
Thanks for your support.
All the best,
Laquita Blockson
