Dear Entrepreneurial Educator:
The National Survey of Entrepreneurship Education is a research initiative that was created in 1979. The objective of the research is to collect information about all the entrepreneurship education conducted in the United States by two and four year colleges and universities. I have been conducting this research now for over 30 years and have produced numerous articles reporting on the dynamic rise of entrepreneurship education in the U.S. The purpose of this email is to invite you and your school to participate in the 2011-2012 National Survey which is supported by the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship(USASBE) and the National Association of Community College Entrepreneurship(NACCE) both of whom will share in the data.
What's in it for you?
1. You would contribute to expanding the knowledge about entrepreneurial education, the pedagogies employed, topics offered, course offerings and articulation strategies being adopted.
2. Your school would be listed on all summary data that was made public.
3. You would have a referent point to compare your school's current activities and possibly develop a comprehensive strategy offering more and different courses and program.
4. You could also examine current teaching methods and delivery methodologies to enhance student outcomes.
5. Finally, you could be one of two winners of an Apple IPAD2 drawn from respondents who completed the survey. The first drawing will take place November 22nd for the early respondents and the second drawing will take place December 19, 2011.
