    "The Institute for Entrepreneurship in the Farmer School of Business invites applications from qualified candidates for the Cintas Chair in Entrepreneurship (Associate or Full Professor) to be responsible for excellence in both academic scholarship and teaching as well as for the assessment and revision of the entrepreneurship curriculum in the Institute for Entrepreneurship; teach and pursue an active research agenda. The successful candidate will pursue and promote a research agenda in entrepreneurship focused on premier-quality publications; provide intellectual leadership for junior faculty interested in entrepreneurship research; play a pivotal role in extending the national reputation of the Institute through scholarship and innovative curriculum design; opportunity to teach distinctive courses in entrepreneurship and guide the establishment of interdisciplinary programs across the university.

    Requirements include a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship, Management or closely related field from an AACSB accredited school; demonstrated excellence in both academic scholarship and teaching; exemplify organizational skills; be an effective communicator; commitment to develop partnerships with businesses, collaborate with colleagues across campus, and embrace diverse teaching practices; qualifications to be appointed to rank of Associate Professor at Miami.

    Desired qualities are demonstrated proven ability to publish at a high level; qualifications to be appointed to rank of Full Professor at Miami.

    The Farmer School of Business ranks 7th among public undergraduate business programs, while entrepreneurship, accountancy, and supply chain rank among the top programs in their fields.  Miami's Institute for Entrepreneurship is ranked 15th in the country for 2011 – marking the 4th year in a row and 5th time in 6 years that the Institute for Entrepreneurship has been ranked in the top 20.

    Send letter of application, curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching performance, research sample, doctoral transcript, and at least three letters of recommendation to Sue Rude at rudes@muohio.edu.    Screening of applications begins October 1, 2011 and will continue until the position is filled; women and minorities are encouraged to apply.
