CALL FOR TEACHING CASES & Related Papers

May 9-12, 2012 at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel, Philadelphia, PA in conjunction with the Eastern Academy of Management (EAM).

Submission DEADLINE: December 12, 2011 (Firm Deadline) Electronic Submissions through EAM ONLY!

The CASE Association welcomes case writers from all disciplines and experience levels! CASE promotes the professional development of case writers. Join us at our workshops focusing on case writing, reviewing, teaching, and publishing your cases. CASE invites you to submit: a) "embryo" cases in the idea development stage, b) cases without an instructor's manual, and c) cases in the advanced developmental stage (with instructor's manual). We also invite you to submit papers or symposia proposals dealing with case writing, research, and instruction.

Embryo cases use one page to outline the idea and list developmental issues for which the author seeks guidance (limit of one embryo submission per author). Experienced case writers provide case specific feedback and suggestions, in a roundtable format, for embryo cases and cases without an instructor's manual. Cases with an Instructor's Manual (advanced) should be sufficiently completed to facilitate constructive criticism provided by top case researchers, journal editors, and text publishers. Advanced cases are eligible for CASE's three awards: the Best Mentored Case, Best "New" Case (for first-time submitters), and Fellows Best Case. The following on-line link provides format instructions (http://caseweb.org/public_pages/forms.htm). Please submit cases through the EAM website (http:www.eamconference.org)

Research papers and symposia on case-related topics should follow the guidelines established for the Eastern Academy of Management conference and will be published in their Proceedings. Unless requested, EAM will only include case abstracts in the proceedings.

All presenters at CASE must pay a $25 CASE membership fee which includes access to the CASE Journal and CASE member only admission to sponsored events at the conference.
