The Robinson College of Business seeks applications and nominations for
multiple tenure- track faculty positions (open rank) in the areas of Strategic Management/Entrepreneurship.
These positions offer an exceptional opportunity to qualified candidates due to a combination of unique and attractive resources. The Department of Managerial Sciences is fortunate to have many outstanding faculty colleagues with interests in Strategic Management/Entrepreneurship. In addition, these faculty members have engaged with colleagues in other units of the College, the University, and neighboring universities in the Atlanta area in a variety of professional activities to form an engaged community of scholars. The Robinson College of Business co-hosts the highly regarded Atlanta Competitive Advantage Conference (ACAC), which attracts eminent scholars from around the world. The City of Atlanta provides an excellent setting for someone with interests in Strategic Management/Entrepreneurship with 10 Fortune 500 companies headquartered in the city along with a number of regional headquarters, a large number of regional, national and global enterprises, and a vibrant entrepreneurial community. Successful candidates will begin employment in August, 2012.
Candidates must have an earned doctorate in a relevant field from an AACSB accredited university and scholarly publications consistent with rank, as well as a demonstrated ability or high potential for teaching within Strategic Management/Entrepreneurship. Individuals applying for a senior level position are expected to be eminent scholars with an international scholarly reputation who will take a leadership role in furthering the research and educational missions of the Department and College. Interest and capability to contribute to executive programs is a plus. Collegiality and a demonstrated ability to develop and work with others to define and conduct research are important at all ranks. The positions include teaching at the graduate and/or undergraduate levels in the College?s academic programs. Salary, teaching loads, and other types of support are competitive with other research universities. These positions are contingent upon final budget approval by the University.
