The Management, Entrepreneurship & Leadership (MEL) Department of the Neeley School of Business at TCU invites applications for chairperson of the department. We are seeking candidates with distinguished records of scholarly accomplishment in management or related disciplines, and demonstrated potential to be an effective department chair. The appointment as MEL chairperson requires an initial 4-year administrative commitment. We are searching for an inspiring teacher-scholar, administrator, leader and colleague who will enhance MEL's departmental initiatives.

In recent years members of the MEL Department have had papers published or accepted in the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management, Organization Research Methods, Organization Science, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, the Strategic Management Journal, and other leading journals. Requirements:
Candidates for the position should possess an earned doctorate in one of the management disciplines or a related area, and should currently hold the rank of full or associate professor. Expectations for the MEL Chairperson include strong evidence of distinguished scholarly accomplishment, reflected by publication in leading academic journals, and evidence of administrative leadership experience, which might include previous chairperson experience or experience as a center director, a doctoral program administrator, a position of leadership in a professional organization, or similar activity. Evidence of a strong record of teaching excellence is essential. The salary range is competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
