Dear Entrepreneurship Educator,
As someone interested in entrepreneurship education, you are invited to be an honorary judge at the SAGE World Cup event in Buffalo/Niagara Falls on July 24-25. We will provide meals and lodging for July 24 and 25, if you decide to attend. Let me know, and I will send more details.
SAGE targets high school students, who work closely with their university student mentors/consultants, to start their own commercial and social business ventures during the year. The best teams in each country travel to a global competition each year, very similar in format to the Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) competitions.
This year, after five years abroad, the SAGE World Cup returns to the USA, namely Buffalo/Niagara Falls.
We expect about 200 people from 15 countries to come to Buffalo at the end of this month. The two high school SAGE teams representing the USA are Butler Tech from Ross, Ohio and Holy Angels Academy from Buffalo. From the brochure attached, you can see that current sponsors include Deloitte; the John R. Oishei Foundation and the Patrick P. Lee Foundation of Buffalo; Macy's; Target; Enterprise Rent a Car, and more.
We hope to hear from you soon. If you would like more information, please send me an email to cdeberg@csuchico.edu saying "More details, please!" in the subject line. Have a good day.
Sincerely,
Curt
