Assistant or Associate Professor of Management

Description: The Department of Management at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville is recruiting assistant or associate professors for tenure-track positions in: (1) strategic management or entrepreneurship, and (2) organizational behavior or human resource management. Candidates should have a strong background in research methods and a desire to work with doctoral students.
The University of Tennessee, Knoxville is the state's flagship research university. The College of Business Administration provides a comprehensive array of undergraduate and graduate programs as well as nationally-ranked MBA and executive education programs. The Department of Management offers undergraduate degrees in management (including a collateral area in entrepreneurship) and human resource management, a master's program in human resource management, and a Ph.D. program in organizations and strategy.
Required qualifications: Candidates must hold a Ph.D. from an AACSB-accredited business school. A minimum of six years of experience at an AACSB-accredited school and an appropriate research record are required for appointment to the rank of associate professor.
Desired qualifications: Candidates must provide evidence of both quality scholarship and teaching effectiveness in strategic management (with a research and teaching focus in entrepreneurship), organizational behavior, or human resource management.
