The goal of our PDW is to build more East-West bridges between research done in organization and management theory and entrepreneurship.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about exemplary research on East-West topics, discuss their current research, and receive detailed feedback on their papers from well-known senior scholars involved in Entrepreneurship (ENT) and Organization and Management Theory (OMT) Divisions.

This PDW is open to all AoM participants, but is targeted particularly at individuals who are somewhat new to comparative or international research at this intersection of entrepreneurship and organization theory.

Each participant should submit a paper or research proposal that is no more than 40 pages in length, double-spaced. This paper will be reviewed in advance by one of the session's scholars and then discussed at a roundtable during the workshop, along with three other similar submissions.

In order to ensure meaningful exchange and in-depth feedback on research, we will cap registration at 32 submissions (4 per commentator), meaning pre-registration is required for this workshop. In the case of co-authored submissions, we ask that only one of the authors registers and attends so that authors of other papers have an opportunity to join us.

To register online, please visit https://secure.aomonline.org/PDWReg. Please contact either Dev Jennings at Dev.Jennings@ualberta.ca or Dean Shepherd at shepherd@indiana.edu to obtain the approval code or for more details.

Papers or research proposals should be submitted by Friday, July 15th to either Dev Jennings or Dean Shepherd in order for the organizers to have adequate time to sort them and for the commentators to review them. We encourage participants not to submit paper that is already under review at an academic journal.
