Those wishing to expand their understanding of Social Network Analysis and receive direct feedback from experienced network scholars on a research project should make plans to attend the following PDW at this year's AOM conference:
Advanced Networks PDW: Theoretical And Empirical Applications Of Social Network Analysis
    Advanced Networks PDW
    Submission: 12085 | Sponsor(s): (OMT) | PDW Cosponsor(s): OB / BPS / RM / HR / ENT / CM / TIM / OCIS / ODC / OM / MOC
    Scheduled: Saturday, Aug 13 2011 1:00PM - 5:00PM at San Antonio Convention Center in Room 204 B

The Advanced Social Networks PDW will allow researchers who are currently engaged in social network research, or who have specific plans to incorporate social network concepts into existing streams of research, to interact with one another and with more senior social network researchers. The goal of the PDW is to facilitate interaction among researchers engaged in network research. In addition, we will have remarks on the future of the field by senior researchers and an introductory workshop on the use of SIENA for longitudinal network research.
Pre-registration is required for this workshop. To register online, please visit https://secure.aomonline.org/PDWReg. Please contact Theresa Floyd at theresa.floyd@uky.edu to obtain the approval code. The deadline to register online is August 10, 2011.
