West Virginia State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor for Marketing & Entrepreneurship beginning the Fall Semester of 2012.
Responsibilities: Teach graduate and undergraduate students. Advise students, and teach courses as needed to meet student and department needs (including both traditional and online courses), participate in university service and collaborate in program development.
Qualifications: PhD or DBA in a relevant discipline from an accredited university program. Commitment to excellence in teaching and an active scholarly and research agenda are required.
Terminal degree in marketing with cross-disciplinary training and/or experience in entrepreneurship,
OR terminal degree in entrepreneurship with significant cross-disciplinary training in marketing &/or significant marketing experience . Prior college/university teaching experience &/or industry experience. Broad ability to teach various business courses. Experience using electronic course management systems.
