Visiting Assistant Professor

The Area of Management, Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University is seeking applications for a visiting assistant professor of management. Candidates with the ability to teach strategy, entrepreneurship, and principles of management are preferred.
RANK & SALARY: Open. Salary is competitive.
EFFECTIVE DATE: Fall 2011: Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Teach three undergraduate courses per Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 semester (3-3 teaching load) preferably in the areas of strategy, entrepreneurship, and/or principles of management.
* Assume additional duties as may be agreed upon with the Management Area Coordinator
* Abide by all TTU policies and procedures applicable to academic faculty.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a doctorate in management, or be close to finishing the dissertation. Must provide evidence of teaching excellence. Experience teaching large sections effectively is a plus.

GENERAL INFORMATION: Faculty members in the Area of Management have multiple research specialties. Research and teaching are supported by the Institute for Leadership Research and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Family Business.
