FACULTY POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF MANAGEMENT
SAGINAW VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY
FALL 2011
The College of Business and Management at Saginaw Valley State University, an AACSB-accredited program, invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in management with an emphasis in entrepreneurship. Position should begin July 1, 2011. Teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester (fall/winter). The candidate will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in entrepreneurship and/or strategic management and engage in scholarly research and university service. Opportunity to teach Spring/Summer courses is available. Minimum Qualifications: A Ph.D. in management from an AACSB-accredited business program is required . A candidate who is ABD and close to completion may be considered. Candidates must demonstrate the potential to teach courses in entrepreneurship, family business and/or strategic management. The applicant should demonstrate research potential to qualify for teaching at the graduate level in an AACSB-accredited business program. Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in management and teaching experience. Entrepreneurial experience, either in starting or working in entrepreneurial ventures.
