Hi Patrick:
I used three books in my creativity and innovation class that worked quite well: "Expect the unexpected or you won't find it – A creativity tool based on the ancient wisdom of Heraclitus" By Roger Von Oech; "The Houdini Principle – Put creativity and innovation to work by thinking INSIDE the box" by Ernie Schenck; and "Serious Creativity" by Edward De Bono which includes most of his theories including Lateral Thinking and some other techniques like "Six Thinking Hats".
I also used some very unorthodox processes in the class that I will be happy to discuss. Good luck!

Please excuse cross posting.
I am developing a new Introduction to Entrepreneurship course (undergraduate) and am looking for class exercises on opportunity recognition and/or creativity. If anyone has any suggestions or knows of any resources, the information would be greatly appreciated.
