The first issue of ENTER (Entrepreneurial Narrative Theory Ethnomethodology
and Reflexivity) is available for download, for free, at:

    http://www.clemson.edu/cedp/cudp/pubs/enter/index.html

It focuses on the book The Republic of Tea, which consists of a series of
faxes among the founders/authors about the development of a business called
    “The Republic of Tea.”

Each issue of ENTER focuses on a specific entrepreneurial narrative. The
label “entrepreneurial narrative” is thought of loosely, to encompass a
variety of texts that are generated by entrepreneurs, or by others, about
entrepreneurs. Focusing on a particular text using a variety of approaches
both enhances an appreciation and understanding of the text, as well as puts
into context the genius of a particular perspective about entrepreneurship
vis-à-vis other contributions. So, in the context of The Republic of Tea, I
believe a reader is better able to appreciate the depths and complexities of
the book, and gain insights into new methods and approaches to understand
    entrepreneurship.

If you are interested in such topics as:

The creation of an entrepreneurial identity
Using metaphors and analogies in entrepreneurial creation
Real time versus retrospective story telling in entrepreneurial narratives
The application of complexity theory to entrepreneurial narrative
A model of evaluation for venture creation
    The social-psychology of opportunities
The dynamics of time in venture development
    The process of idea generation

It will be worthwhile to read the articles in this issue.

I am very excited about this new publishing model (see my introductory
chapter for details) as a way to champion the use narratives and narrative
methodologies to explore new ideas about the nature of entrepreneurship.
