    The Austin Family Business Program at the Oregon State University College of Business invites applications for a full time (1.0 FTE), 12 month, fixed-term Director of Austin Family Business Program to begin no later than June 30, 2011. The College seeks an outstanding leader with an entrepreneurial spirit to create and implement a strategic vision for family business education and outreach that aligns with and enables the College's mission in education, research, and service to the public. Family enterprise scholars interested in the development of formal and informal education programs to bring current research to an engaged community of family business leaders are invited to apply. Salary is competitive and commensurate with education and experience. Employee benefits are excellent.

     

    Oregon State University and the College of Business (COB) launched its family business endeavors in 1985 to serve the business community

    and students. The mission of the program is to foster healthy family businesses. The Program serves as a pacesetting resource that offers

    practical lessons in affordable and accessible formats and hands-on learning opportunities that include workshops, conferences, checklists,

    videos, academic courses, and information on-line.
