Eastern Connecticut State University invites applicants for a tenure track faculty position in Entrepreneurship/Management at the Assistant Professor rank beginning August 2011.
Interested candidates should have a solid academic grounding in management, entrepreneurship or a related area. Teaching requirements for the successful candidate will include courses which address starting new businesses and related human resource, financial, operational, marketing and management issues. Candidates must understand and be willing to teach the fundamentals in all functional areas of business. We are looking for dynamic, energetic, and innovative applicants with Ph.D. or equivalent in management or business administration with concentration in Entrepreneurship, Management or a related area. ABD near completion will be considered. Actual private sector experience would be a definite asset. Other expected duties include advising students, engaging in research and scholarly activity that leads to publication in refereed journals as well as staying involved in professional activities and providing service to the university.
