Global Entrepreneurship Week rocks!
Finally saw Zoltan's preso on GEDI -- his new Global Entrepreneurship & Development Index. Seems quite promising and is starting to get some buzz [eg, see the WSJ blurb -
http://on.wsj.com/cZnv47]. I fully assume that you all are personally responsible for your countries' high scores.
I definitely think there's some research ideas that this will open up. The only report I can find on the SBA site looks at the US:
http://www.sba.gov/advo/research/rs370tot.pdf but I assume that the full report is forthcoming.
Add this to the nice conference George & Ayman put on at GWU last month on cutting edge research on business creation, the outlook for good research that informs policy is rising! (I'd be remiss to not plug that ICSB wants that kind of research or the June 2011 conference.)
p.s. Anyone else want a plug? ;)
