the 4th oikos UNDP Young Scholars Development Academy at Strathmore Business
School (Nairobi-Kenya, 12-17 August) invites PhD students and junior faculty
to submit their ongoing work related to Business and Development.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is March 31, 2012. Full papers will
be required by June 15, 2012.
Our 2012 faculty consists of:
*Chris Yenkey, Chicago Booth School of Business
*Klaus Weber, Kellogg School of Management
*Monica Kerretts-Makau, Strathmore Business School (Kenya)
Together with the UNDP Growing Inclusive Markets Initiative the oikos
Foundation has organized the Young Scholars Development Academy for 3
consecutive years. Previous host schools have been the University of St
Gallen (2009), INCAE Business School Costa Rica (2010), and Bangalore
Institute of Management (2011).
The 4th Development Academy taking place in Africa we aim to stimulate
interest and momentum around the AOM Africa Initiative and the AOM 2012
Program theme "the informal economy".
We are looking forward to your applications and an exciting Academy in 2012.
