    The 2011 International Family Enterprise Research Academy (IFERA) conference offers the opportunity for family business scholars to come together and share the latest research findings, theoretical advancements, empirical trends, best practice and policy agendas in a world-class research environment, in the beautiful city of Palermo, Sicily (Italy).

    Conference Dates: June 28 - July 1, 2011.

    We welcome contributions from scholars at all stages of their career and from all disciplines. Proposals can be accepted as full papers, discussion papers and/or poster papers. Accepted full papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of the Journal of Family Business Strategy. We also invite applications for Doctoral and Faculty Development Consortiums.

    29 June: Day 2: Main conference (Key note address and paper presentations), Gala Dinner  

    30 June: Day 3: Main conference (Key note address, paper presentations, roundtable), Closing dinner 

    1st July: Day 4 (optional): The family business forum featuring: 1) a roundtable bringing together distinguished academics, practitioners and entrepreneurs on best practices for family firms' continuity; 2) a roundtable on family business policy, with distinguished entrepreneurs and policy makers.
