The Federal Reserve Banks of Atlanta and Dallas and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation invite you to attend "Small Business, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Recovery: A Focus on Job Creation and Economic Stabilization," a conference focused on research and its implications for policy and practice.
Mark Doms, Ph.D., Chief Economist for the U.S. Department of Commerce, and John Haltiwanger, Ph.D., Professor of Economics, University of Maryland, College Park will be our luncheon keynote speakers. Other special guest speakers include:
· Brian Headd, Economist, Office of Advocacy, U.S. Small Business Administration
· Lisa Servon, Ph.D., Dean, Milano The New School for Management and Urban Policy
· Ivonne Cunarro, Chief Knowledge Officer, Minority Business Development Agency, U. S. Department of Commerce
These speakers will be joined by more than 20 researchers, policy makers and practitioners who will share their latest studies examining the relationship between small business and entrepreneurship with economic recovery in several panel sessions.
