What are the benefits of taking the business model perspective for SE research?

What are specific challenges with regard to business modeling in an SE and informal economy context?

What are promising research avenues to advance our understanding of SE business models?

Input presentations to these key questions will be given by:

Dr. Adam J. Bock, University of Edinburgh, UK

Professor Christian Seelos, IESE, Spain, and Stanford University, USA

Professor Shaker Zahra, University of Minnesota, USA

At the end of the workshop, we have allocated time for a get-together over coffee.

If you are interested in participating, you will need to register for BOTH the Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management and for the workshop itself.  More information and the online registration tool can be found here: http://annualmeeting.aomonline.org/2012/ .

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

My fellow organizers, Susan Mueller (University of St. Gallen), Markus Beckmann (Leuphana University Lueneburg) and Jennifer Walske (University of California, Berkeley), and I are very much looking forward to your participation.

    Kind regards

    Anica
