Journal of Enterprising Communities: People and Places in the Global Economy

    Special Issue: Soci(et)al entrepreneurship

Guest Editors: H. Dahles, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam; J.K. Verduyn & I.A.M Wakkee, VU University Amsterdam.

This special issue offers multiple perspectives on the conceptual confusion entailed by the concept of social entrepreneurship. The special issue features two conceptual papers (one of which unifying in nature, while the other exerting that the assumed conflicting logics between social and 'regular' entrepreneurship do not have to be conflicting at all), one empirical study, one practical casuistic essay and a critical evaluation of the scholarly concept itself.
