  • 1.  Video of Business Plan Presentations

    Posted 03-24-2010 01:20
I am conducting a research project looking how people evaluate entrepreneurs presenting new business ideas.
In order to conduct this research, I am looking for video of entrepreneurs presenting business plans.

Specifically I am interested in trying to access video of business plans presentations within the following broad parameters:
-- The business plan presentation is 8 - 15 minutes long
-- There panel/audience observing the presentation have the opportunity to ask questions after the presentation and the Q&A is also captured in the video
-- The picture and audio quality of the video is reasonably good

It would also be preferable but not essential if I could get copies of the executive summaries of the business plans that are presented on the video.

If anyone can help with video from business plan competitions or in-class business plan presentations or else where then I would be most grateful.
All material will be used with discretion and only shared with a very limited audience.

If you think that you might be able to assist then please drop me a mail at gcfisher@u.washington.edu

    Thanks!
    Greg

    Greg,

The Global Challenge of Moot Corp has videos of all past
Finalists for the past 20 plus years. Most involve team
presentations of 15 to 20 minutes followed by 15 to 20
minutes of Q&A with the Reviewers, usually VCs and other
new venture experts. More recent videos cover 20 minutes
of presentatons followed by 25 minutes of Q&A from the
    Reviewers.

The videos can be accessed by almost anyone, but you will
require special permission to access the plans associated
    with each of the videos.

Being Moot Corp Finalists means that these plans were judged
to be among the "BEST" in the world during the year involved.
But that does NOT mean that they were without fault because
the Judges had very limited time to do their reviews.

    Sincerely,
    Dr. Charles Hofer
