    Colleagues,

    I am writing to invite you to participate in the PDW which I will Co-Chair entitled:

    Business Model Innovation And Competitive Advantage

    It is scheduled for:

    Saturday August 4, 10:15 AM – 1:15 PM in Room 201, Boston Hynes Convention Center. .

    In light of the rapidly growing academic and practitioner interest in business models,  there are  three main objectives of the PDW: first, to bring together the business model scholarly community and strive towards a common understanding of the phenomenon and of the main conceptual lenses to study it; second, to generate productive dialogue among scholars about the future of business model research; and third, to situate and increase awareness of the business model research within the larger community of AOM scholars.

    The lead faculty in this PDW include:  Jay Barney, Marvin Lieberman, Ian MacMillan, Costas Markides, Margaret Peteraf, Joan E Ricart, David Teece, Michael Tushman.

    The format will be highly interactive and include a moderated panel discussion and roundtable discussions facilitated by the lead faculty.   

     

    We  look forward to seeing you at this PDW.
