    ~POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT~

    DISTINGUISHED CLINICAL PROFESSOR IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP & CREATIVITY

    School of Entrepreneurship

    Oklahoma State University

     

    The School of Entrepreneurship in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University seeks an internationally prominent expert on the creativity and entrepreneurship interface to fill a distinguished clinical faculty position.  The individual should have a proven track record of teaching, research, and consulting in the area of entrepreneurship.  We are particularly interested in the application of tools, concepts, frameworks, and pedagogical approaches to the development of innovative, scalable business concepts and the successful launch of new ventures.  Expertise in working with faculty and students from a diverse array of disciplines and with entrepreneurs on creativity-related problems is highly valued.

     

    The individual selected will join a world-class team of scholars and educators in the School of Entrepreneurship at Oklahoma State University.  He or she will be responsible for coordinating a university-wide creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship initiative.  Specific duties include working with faculty members from different disciplines on research, ways to build entrepreneurship into their curricula, and outreach efforts related to creativity and entrepreneurship.  Further, the individual will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in entrerpeneurship, and be responsible for inter-disciplinary curriculum development related to creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship.  In addition, the person selected will liaise with units on campus devoted to new product development, technology commercialization, and economic development.

     

    A Ph.D. or terminal degree is preferred.  Applicants should provide evidence of scholarly accomplishment, teaching excellence, and high impact industry engagement related to entrepreneurship.  Applications accepted until the position is filled.  It is anticipated that the person will begin working no later than August 15, 2010.  Applications should be sent to Dr. Michael Morris, Head, School of Entrepreneurship, Spears School of Business, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK  74078, ph.: (405) 744-5357, email:  mhm@okstate.edu .
