Wow- great to see this take off! We just wrapped up our first Startup Weekend & you can see/hear the TV & radio coverage linked below. You folks should REALLY be thinking about doing one of these.

I've posted on Startup Weekend before - you really should be thinking about this as a way to keep/build momentum in your local entrepreneurial culture. I was most impressed!

Thanks to an intro to the good folks at Kauffman, Startup Weekend became one of only 10 'global' events officially for GEW (out of 25,000+) & I think after they do 14 of these in the next month, we're going to see some great impact. We got 4 launched (from 25 peeps) and two are already possible game-changers & a third is getting prepped for their industry's big tradeshow...
(shameless plug for our teams - tell them #blamenorris sent you, LOL)
www.getyaro.com --  if they get traction, they'll change social media [you should sign up for their beta] follopw them at @getyaro

local coverage- but think how much PR that *you* would get in your city... How often do you get cynical reporters thanking *you* for the story?

Seriously - this is a GREAT week to celebrate - and encourage - entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs!
