    The Department of Management in the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business at the University of Missouri invites applicants with strong academic credentials in strategic management to apply for a tenure track position at the assistant or associate professor level.  An interest in entrepreneurship would be viewed favorably.  Candidates should have completed a PhD in strategic management  or a related discipline by the start date in August 2014, have a record of top-tier publications in the area of strategic management commensurate with target rank, and have a demonstrated commitment to such publications.  The candidate hired for this position will be expected to play an integral role in the department's MBA courses and PhD seminars and in the direction of doctoral students.  Prior graduate-level teaching experience is preferred although a record of outstanding teaching strictly at the undergraduate level will also be considered.  

     

    The Trulaske College of Business, housed in a state-of-the art building, consists of 64 full-time faculty members who serve approximately 4,000 undergraduates, 275 master's students, and 40 doctoral students. The Department of Management consists of sixteen tenure-track faculty members who share a strong commitment to research and teaching and seek colleagues who share this commitment.  The department includes faculty with expertise in strategic management, entrepreneurship, organization theory, organizational behavior, human resource management, management information systems and analytics, and operations and supply chain management.  More information about the College and the Department can be found at http://business.missouri.edu.
