As you can see from the description, we have needs in Human Resource Management or in any combination of our other areas (ENTR, Ops Mgmt, Strategy, etc.). Thus, candidates who are entrepreneurship focused but possess the ability to teach in another area as well are encouraged to apply.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Department of Management in the Craig School of Business at California State University, Fresno is accepting applications for a tenure-track position in Management/Human Resource Management at the Assistant Professor rank with a Fall 2014 start date, Associate Professor rank may be considered depending on the candidate's level of experience. The successful candidate will be prepared to teach in the Craig School's undergraduate and MBA programs, conduct scholarly and applied research, and engage in service-related activities. Opportunities to teach in the Executive MBA and Accelerated Bachelor's in Business Administration program are available as well. The successful candidate will also have primary teaching and research interests in Human Resource Management and/or two or more option areas within the department (including Organizational Behavior, Entrepreneurship and Human Resource Management). The university supports multidisciplinary cohorts in the areas of: Globalization and World Cultures; Urban and Regional Transformation; Water Technology, Management and Quality; Physical, Psychological and Environmental Health; Multiculturalism in the United States. Candidates with research interests to participate in one of these cohorts are encouraged to express those interests in their application.
Academic Preparation:An earned doctorate (Ph.D. or DBA) in Management, Human Resource Management, or a closely-related discipline from an AACSB accredited institution (or equivalent) is preferred for appointment to a tenure-track position. Candidates nearing completion of the doctorate (ABD) may be considered; however, for continued employment in a tenure-track position the doctorate must be completed by 7/30/2015.
Teaching Or Other Experience:* Preferred candidates will have demonstrated success in teaching excellence at the collegiate level. Preferred candidates will have demonstrated expertise primarily in Human Resource Management (or a closely-related discipline) or demonstrated expertise in a combination of areas in the Department (Entrepreneurship, Organizational Behavior, and Human Resource Management). * Evidence of success in scholarly research is required. Candidates will have demonstrated their ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals. Preference will be given to individuals who have published in high-quality journals and whose publication record is commensurate with their years of experience.
