(I am sending this to the BPS and ENTREP lists, sorry for the cross-post)
I am beginning to use Twitter this semester to better connect with my students. I am thinking about using it in the following ways...
1. Sending links to newspaper stories / web sites / videos that relate to class material and /or my students
may find interesting.
2. Sending out course announcements.
3. Sending notifications about new content being posted on our class website.
4. Sending out reminders about assignment due dates.
I am interested in learning about others' experience using Twitter for such purposes and also about other productive ways to use it a tool to serve students better and promote learning in and between classes.
Lastly, I'd be interested in following others who are using Twitter for similar purposes. Please send your twitter details if you don't mind me following you.
