    --------------------------

    2010 EFMD Entrepreneurship Conference

The theme of the conference is:

“Entrepreneurs as Agents of Creativity in Times of Crisis”

The steering committee is looking for contributions both from practitioners
and academics on the following subthemes:

Opportunity Recognition: How do entrepreneurs perceive opportunities? To
what extent does a time of crisis spur entrepreneurial ideas? How do you
train individuals to better recognise opportunities?
In collaboration with Emerald Group Publishing Ltd ‘International Journal
    of Entrepreneurial Behaviour & Research’
Resource Mobilisation: How do entrepreneurs mobilise ressources? To what
extent does a time of crisis modify the process of resource
mobilisation? Are innovative ideas related to the recognition of
opportunities vs. the mobilisation of scarce
resources? How do you train individuals to better mobilise resources?
In collaboration with Emerald Group Publishing Ltd ‘European Journal of
    Innovation Management’
Growth: What kind of growth opportunities exist? What is specific about
growth management and are there entrepreneurial skills that are specific
to growth management in times of crisis? What are the latest public
policies for fostering Entrepreneurship and Growth? What are the public
investments that catalyse growth at an aggregate level? How do you
stimulate endogenous sources of growth and technological change, such as
human capital, knowledge, R&D, innovation and motivation?
In collaboration with the International Journal of Entrepreneurial
    Venturing (IJEV)

It was decided this year to accept short abstracts accompanied by a full
paper as well as short abstracts accompanied by a power point presentation
you would like to present at the conference. However, please note that only
the short abstracts accompanied by a full paper will be eligible for the
best paper award in each category.

The deadline for submission is the 31 October 2009.

For more information on the guideline or the submission website, please do
not hesitate to visit the conference website or contact me directly.
