McNeese State University invites qualified applicants and nominations for the position of Assistant Professor of Management/Entrepreneurship/Small Business in the Department of Management, Marketing, and Business Administration. This is a nine-month, full-time, tenure-track position. The appointment begins August, 2014.
Position Description and Responsibilities: The Assistant Professor of Management/Entrepreneurship/Small Business is responsible for functions related to quality research and teaching in management/entrepreneurship/small business and active participation in entrepreneurial activities of Southwest Louisiana Entrepreneurial and Economic Development, SEED Center. The position requires working closely with College of Business faculty members, students, staff, and SEED Center personnel. Cross-collaboration with other university units will be necessary. Duties will include supervising student internships, engaging with the business community, promoting entrepreneurship and small business, and developing appropriate research initiatives.
Qualifications: The position requires an earned doctorate in management/entrepreneurship/small business or a closely related business discipline from an AACSB- accredited doctorate program. The candidate must be academically qualified (AQ) by AACSB standards and has a proven record of teaching excellence.
Salary: $85,000 for 9 months.
