    Tenure-track position in Entrepreneurship

     

    The Goodman School of Business, Brock University invites applications for a probationary tenure-track position in Entrepreneurship at the Assistant Professor level commencing July 1, 2015. This position requires an individual who holds a PhD or is near completion.  The availability of this position is subject to final budgetary approval.

     

    The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in both scholarly research and teaching in the field of entrepreneurship.  It is expected that applicants can show evidence of or potential to publish in top-tier entrepreneurship and related management journals and that the candidate will have the ability to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses.

     

    The Goodman School is AACSB accredited.  The School has approximately 90 full-time faculty members.  The Department of Organizational Behaviour, Human Resources, Entrepreneurship and Ethics (OBHREE) has 14 full-time faculty and is one of four departments.  The university has a 12 week semester and a strong co-op program. Salary and benefits are competitive; ample support for research and sabbaticals is provided; and, teaching loads and student-to-faculty ratios are low.

     

    Brock University is located in St. Catharines, within the scenic Niagara peninsula, minutes from New York State and a one-hour drive from Toronto.  The city of approximately 130,000 sits within the Niagara wine region and has a fascinating history as part of the canal system around Niagara Falls.  The region has a manufacturing base, in addition to expanding sectors such as wine-making and tourism.
