The IM Division is sponsoring an ARCHITECTURAL TOUR of the city of Chicago. Chicago is known for its unique contribution to architecture, from the nature of its
skyscrapers to the unique architecture of its different neighborhoods. The tour will run from approximately 1PM to 4:30 PM on 6 August (departing from the Sheraton Towers Hotel on Wacker Drive). The tour will be led by Diane Dillon who is a leading expert on the history of Chicago architecture. The tour (which will be by bus plus a bit of walking) will encompass the loop, the Near Northside, the Lakeside and museum districts and many of the neighborhoods of the Southside (e.g., Bronzville and Prairie Avenue).
