In the course of its dynamic expansions, the Department of Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship (IME) and the newly established Centre for Automotive Business Studies (CABS) are currently recruiting for one joint position within the Strascheg Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (SIIE) as
(Assistant)Professor in Innovation Management
(appointment at a rank commensurate with experience)
Applicants are expected to meet the following requirements:
- PhD or ABD with a publication record or research potential that is relevant to both academics and practitioners interested in automotive business;
- Practical experience – preferably in the automotive industry – to quickly establish credibility when liaising with industry and in Executive Education;
- Ability to play a significant role in research projects and management, particularly to provide leadership for an academic team, develop the research skills of existing staff, attract external research grants and supervise PhD students;
- Excellence and innovation in quality teaching.
The position will be available from January 2010. Review of applications will begin September 1 2009. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
