Here is a position announcement from Rider University in New Jersey
Rider University’s College of Business Administration invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in Entrepreneurship and Strategy at the rank of Assistant Professor. Appointment in the Department of Entrepreneurial Studies and Strategy begins on September 1, 2010. A PhD or D.B.A. in Entrepreneurship or related area should be completed by September 2010. The candidate must show strong potential in teaching as well as research skills consistent with AACSB standards. Direct experiential experience (starting/owning/running your venture) is a plus.
He/she would teach a core class in strategic management at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, along with entrepreneurial courses in such areas like introduction to entrepreneurship, new venture planning, international entrepreneurship and student consulting, etc. Strong teaching skills and the ability to interact well with undergraduate and MBA students are important. He/she would conduct research resulting in publications in quality refereed journals.
Service activity would be focused on significantly expanding the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies, one of the growth areas in the CBA. The Center for Entrepreneurial Studies is active in encouraging entrepreneurial activity among students, and reaching out to the entrepreneurial community in the area. This 10-month work year has a standard teaching load of 3 fall/3 spring classes, with 13 week semesters. Summer teaching opportunities are available on the Rider campus. Summer research fellowships are available.
