PDW on Technoentrepreneurship

    Dear All,

     

    It's our pleasure to invite you to the 4th PDW on Technoentrepreneurship. After Hawaii (2005), Philadelphia (2007) and Anaheim (2008), join us from 4:30 pm on Saturday (8th) at the Hyatt Regency Addams room for 3 hours of discussions on the latest research, on research collaborations, exchange of ideas, ... in a friendly atmosphere.

     

    This year, among others, we will have the following presentations:

    . Aard Groen from Twente Venture Lab will present the development of a High-Tech High Growth entrepreneurship support facility.

    . Bill Lekse from UMich will present the Product Realization and Technology Commercialization Program for start-up technology entrepreneurs he developed and manages.

    .Gita Surie from Adelphi will present on university incubation of new ventures for the rural population in India.

    . Francesco Schiavone from Parthenope U. of Naples, will discuss a relational view of global high-tech firms in local high-tech clusters.

    .René Mauer, from Aachen, will present a benchmark of tech transfer structures at leading universities in Europe and suggest to set up a cross-national research program on technology ventures.

     

    And we will organize roundtables on the following topics:

    . Research and methods for technoentrepreneurship

    . Knowledge development on technoentrepreneurship

    . Technological innovation and entrepreneurship for socio-economic development

    . New Research trends in management of high-tech clusters
