    The Ivey Business School seeks candidates for a Tenured faculty position at the rank of Professor or Associate Professor, and Director of the Pierre Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship.  The successful candidate will be a recognized scholar in entrepreneurship or innovation.  He or she should have an established record of impactful publications in quality academic and practitioner outlets, as well as evidence of high quality teaching.  Experience with case teaching method is preferred. Applicants are expected to hold a doctorate degree (or equivalent) or nearing completion. Demonstrated evidence of successfully building research and teaching communities is highly valued. Probationary, Limited Term or Visiting appointments at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor will also be considered.

    A key component of this appointment is the role as Director of the Pierre Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship (http://www.ivey.uwo.ca/entrepreneurship), which is a five-year term with the potential for renewal.  In recognition of this position's significant leadership responsibilities with the Pierre Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship, the successful candidate will have a reduced teaching workload. The research and teaching conducted and stimulated by the successful candidate, as well as outreach activities, will further distinguish the Pierre Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship at the Ivey Business School as an important source of influential and relevant entrepreneurship research and scholarship. This Institute serves new business ventures from start-up to succession and provides entrepreneurs with the tools, resources and discipline to thrive in a competitive world. These results are achieved through a variety of outreach and educational programs. The Director is responsible for defining and executing the Institute's strategy. 

    The Richard Ivey School of Business is Canada's premier business school, recognized worldwide for the quality of its management education and research. The School's major activities include: a highly regarded MBA/EMBA program, a distinctive undergraduate program and a well-established doctoral program; as well as an expanding portfolio of programs for executives. The School is internationally oriented in terms of curricula, research, faculty and student exchanges and has campuses in London, Toronto, and Hong Kong.

    This position is available to begin July 2014, subject to budget approval.  Applicants should have fluent written and oral communication skills in English.  All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority.
