The Management Department at the University of Central Florida is currently searching for an individual in the entrepreneurship/strategy area to fill an one year visiting position. The crucial requirement is the teaching of four courses (2 courses per semester). Courses include master level strategic management/strategic innovation and business plan preparation. Teaching would be the only duty; there would be no service responsibilities. Nor would there be any formal research responsibilities, although the individual is welcomed to interact with our PhD students (to contribute to and benefit from that interaction) and generally reap the benefits of a collegial research environment.
This position might represent an excellent opportunity for someone who finishes this year but does not yet want to be on the job market, for whatever reason. In other words, this could be something like the ideal "post-doc," especially because the salary would be more than normally associated with such a position. The option of a visiting slot is only one possibility, and we are open to other ideas. We do need the courses taught, but as long as they are covered, we could welcome one or more people on sabbatical leave. We'd supply an office, computer, etc.
